Going to work...

So, I'm soon heading for work at the restaurant. We wear strictly all-black, so I'm just wearing the t-shirt until I get there, and change into my black workshirt. We decide on the rest ourselves, which is really nice, because everyone shows a bit of personality through their clothes then. I just bought these shoes for work, since I like wearing formals. Some wear sandals, protective shoes or Kawasaki. They have a really long cap, which makes my feet look three sizes bigger :p But I think they are fun, elegant and quirky. I love the shirt, which is an H&M gents. They always have great prints! It's a bit too big of course, but worn with tights it doesn't look too bad, I think. It's just rather low-key, now that it is Saturday, and I'm not doing anything special. And of course we dig the J.R.R. Tolkien reference!! ;)

I always wear my hair tied up nicely at work, but still get comments on the locks from our guests. Fortunately they are always polite and positive about it. So many of you asked me if it has been a problem in my work life and I figure I'll do a post on this rather soon, due to the mass of questions regarding this.

I try to wear a nice, natural makeup to work. Of course it is really hot in there and we are busy, so it needs to hold op nicely. I try to focus on brows and I almost always wear nail polish. My favorite for work - and almost everything else - is OPI Malaga Wine. I need to get a new bottle of this!
